Sarah & Matt Engagement Session at Joshua Tree National Park

Sarah and Matt will be getting married here in the desert in November so we met up in Joshua tree just a few weeks before to get some great sunset shots in for their engagement. They brought their golden doodle pup, Tuzz, who was along for the ride and such good boy.

We had brain stormed for months, debating if California or Oregon was going to be the best location for their engagement session. All that to say, this was a much anticipated event. I met them at a local coffee shop and we discussed looks for the shoot. My best clients always bring a trunk full of clothes so we can plan based on the location, light and energy of the shoot. Then we drove on into the park, not before almost hitting a coyote who was roaming the local neighborhood.
